Description & details
The New Works Covent Sofa, 3-seater in Karakorum 007 reads as one continuous soft form, with no legs or hardware breaking its silhouette. A plywood-core frame under high-density foam, fibertex, and wadding lets the Karakorum 007 upholstery run unbroken from the seat through the curved back and down to the floor. Arde Design Studio, the Danish studio founded by architect Arde René Hougaard, designed it for New Works as a full-scale extension of Hougaard's original Covent chair.
