The ferm Living Vary Storage uses Katra: a cotton mâché material made from cotton industry scraps. It is pressed into a rigid container that holds form under the weight of folded textiles, accessories, or planted contents. The recycled construction diverts cotton waste from disposal while producing a container substantially lighter than ceramic alternatives.
Indoor and covered outdoor use
The Katra material suits indoor placement as a textile storage bin or accessory holder. It also tolerates covered outdoor placement as a planter or storage container: covered porches, screened patios, or sheltered outdoor corners.
